Original Deira Restaurant
Pakistani Cuisine · Since 1978
The taste Dubai has returned tosince 1978
Burns Road-inspired Pakistani comfort food in Old Deira, Dubai. One restaurant. One kitchen. Original.
The Beginning
Old Deira, 1978
We opened in Old Deira in 1978. The neighbourhood was different then — the city was different. The kitchen wasn't.
The recipes came from Burns Road in Karachi, carried here and planted in Deira. Slow gravies. Charcoal tandoor. Nihari cooked overnight. The way it was done.
Delhi became the restaurant Deira returned to. For family dinners, late nights, Ramadan, celebrations. The kind of place that doesn't need to explain itself — the food says enough.
The Flavour
Burns Road-inspired
Burns Road in Karachi is where Pakistani food culture was distilled — the street where nihari was perfected, where the technique of overnight cooking was established as standard. Delhi brought that ethos to Deira. Not a replica. A living practice.

Signature Dishes
Beef Nihari
The dish that made our name. Slow, marrow-rich, unmistakably Deira. Cooked overnight in the pot, served with rumal roti. The reason most people come for the first time — and the reason they come back.
Bihari Kebab
Tender, charcoal-smoked, gone before the naan cools. Named for Bihar, perfected on Burns Road, served here in Deira.
